Before you start

Before you can access our programs, we want to understand whether Medicare Mental Health Check In is right for you. You can fill out our online form; this is part of the intake assessment process which helps us understand how you've been feeling and what kind of support might help. It will only take a few minutes to fill in.

One of our trained professionals will review your answers and call you with some questions about how you've been feeling to determine if this service is suitable for you and recommend next steps.

How it works

1.

Answer a few questions online

Tell us how you've been feeling and what support you might need. There are no right or wrong answers.

2.

We review what you've shared and give you a call

One of our trained professionals will look at your answers and call you at your preferred time to understand your situation and work out what’s right for you. This call will come from a private number.

3.

We'll work out next steps together

If the service is right for you, we'll get you started. We may also offer to connect you with another service that could be a better fit.

What happens after

Whatever the outcome and however you choose to proceed, we'll make sure you have the right support in place.

If Medicare Mental Health Check In is right for you

We'll talk you through the next steps.

If you choose to continue, we'll send you an email so you can create your account, choose a program, and decide whether you'd like to work through it on your own or with support from a practitioner.

If Medicare Mental Health Check In isn't right for you

We offer early support for people aged 16 or over, experiencing mild mental health challenges – so it won't be the right service for everyone.

If we determine this service isn’t the right fit for your needs, we'll talk with you about other suitable support options.
